Most roofers learn the trade for two or three years and start their own company. Preston spent fourteen years on roofs before he ever hung a Dedicated Builders sign. That meant fourteen years of seeing what holds up, what fails, what crews cut corners on, and what homeowners wish someone had told them at the quote.
Heber came on as the second pair of hands the operation needed. The two of them put together a small crew of people they trust on their own family’s roofs. Today Dedicated Builders runs out of Collins, MO and serves seven counties across SW Missouri. We are still small enough that when you call, you talk to a Laub.

Preston Laub
Started in roofing at nineteen, spent fourteen years working under a master installer in SW Missouri before founding Dedicated Builders. Walks every quote himself. Knows asphalt, metal, and the half-dozen tricky valley details that separate a five-year roof from a thirty-year roof.
Heber Laub
Runs the install side. Hires and trains every crew member, keeps the trucks loaded, and makes sure the magnet-sweep happens before anyone leaves the property. If something doesn’t look right at the end of the day, Heber is the one who climbs back up to fix it.

Walk the roof first.
Every quote starts with us up on the roof, in person, with a notebook. No drone bids, no guesses from satellite imagery. The only way to spec a roof right is to put hands on it.
Write everything down.
You get the quote in writing with every line item: square count, materials, labor, tear-off, disposal, warranty terms. No verbal handshakes. If we said it, it is on paper.
Hit the timeline.
If we say one day, the roof comes off and goes back on in one day. If weather changes the plan, we call you the morning of, not the afternoon. Your time matters.
Stand behind it.
Five years labor warranty in writing, on every install. Owens Corning manufacturer warranty on top. If something we did fails in those five years, we come back and fix it at no charge.
Leave it cleaner than we found it.
Tarps over your landscaping during tear-off. Magnet sweep across the entire driveway and yard before we leave. Every scrap of debris hauled off your property the same day.
